This week, we sat down with 聽from the BAHS talent acquisition聽team聽to discuss her passions, pets, favorite charity, and more.

Where did you grow up?聽
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago in a town called Park Ridge, it鈥檚 about 13 miles outside of the city.
What did you dream of growing up to be when you were a child?聽
I really wanted to be an actress.
What is something you have overcame that might be encouraging to others? Definitely coming out in my late 20鈥檚. It鈥檚 equally terrifying and incredibly freeing to be fully honest with everyone and yourself about who you really are.
What are you proudest of?聽 Moving to New York knowing one person and with no job!
What do you love about your job? I love meeting new candidates every day and the connection I get to have with all of them. 聽
What do you do in times of stress?聽 I really like to move my body. I鈥檒l take a dance or Pilates class.
What do you do to unwind at the end of a long聽day?聽 I love anything Bravo and can turn it on and turn my brain off.

What does your ideal聽day聽to yourself look like?聽 I absolutely love my alone time, my ideal day would involve a long walk with my dog, a good book, and a night on the couch with pizza and wine.
Where is your happy place?聽 My apartment in Brooklyn. I am totally a homebody and feel the most content at home with my partner and animals.
Which charity or campaign is close to your heart and why? 聽is an incredible organization that helps provide shelter and food for homeless queer and trans youth. They do such good work for kids that really need to feel support and a sense of community.
The Ali Forney Center was founded in 2002 in memory of Ali Forney, a homeless gender-nonconforming youth who was聽 forced to live on the streets, where they were tragically murdered. Committed to saving the lives of LGBTQ+ young people, our mission is to protect them from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently.
Do you have any advice for young women just starting out in their careers? You have to find balance! A new role can be so exciting that you want to pour yourself so much into everything, but you have to remember to have that downtime for yourself.
We are in Pride Month right now, what does it mean to you? How do you celebrate it?

It鈥檚 a chance to celebrate being who I am with the people I care the most about. Every event I feel like you are just surrounded by joy and so many happy people. I think it鈥檚 so important for us to be visible and show we exist. Other states can ban all the drag shows they want- but we are still out here.
